Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage weekly Connect sessions with students according to Udacity guidelines.
  • •Create the Connect session agenda and notes, and coordinate between students and the Udacity Connect team.
  • •Be present at every Connect session over Zoom to organize groups, keep time, and help students introduce themselves.
  • •Respond to technical questions during sessions and explain Nanodegree program concepts to your group when needed.
  • •Report weekly attendance and student progress to the Mentor’s dashboard and communicate with students on Slack.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • •2+ years of working experience in OWASP vulnerabilities, secure coding practices, and Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools.
  • •Ability to conduct penetration tests, identify vulnerabilities, and implement remediation strategies.
  • •Experience designing secure systems, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, and building tools to monitor and counter security breaches.
  • •Experience teaching technical concepts and public speaking, with a students-first mindset.
