Key Responsibilities

  • •Support a cross-discipline team by providing radiation test and analysis results, requirements flow-down, modeling/analysis reports, and mitigation recommendations.
  • •Develop component databases and applications for interfacing radiation test data across programs.
  • •Coordinate with supply chain, component reliability, and radiation engineering teams to ensure radiation test campaign data is accessible to design engineers.
  • •Review PCN changes to maintain radiation qualification status and develop testing/reporting standards for component and flight PCBA radiation tests.
  • •Analyze and improve test coverage by working with circuit design, electronics manufacturing, and software implementation; recommend design/process/data-collection improvements and define component procurement specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical, materials, physics, or other engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of professional experience in the radiation effects field (internships and project experience are applicable).
  • •Strong mathematics and statistics knowledge base.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Proficiency with avionics hardware spanning integrated circuits, PCBA boards, sensors/transducers, and functional troubleshooting/defect detection.
