Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and repair equipment and tools as needed and per the PM schedule.
  • •Perform duties associated with master electrician and master machine repairman classifications.
  • •Analyze work orders, daily observations, manuals, schematics, and prints to diagnose and correct malfunctions.
  • •Communicate consistently with internal customers about equipment status and advise supervisors on outside service needs.
  • •Prepare bills of material and initiate purchase requisitions; use material-handling equipment and lock-out/tag-out devices.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years’ experience in electrical/machining maintenance environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •High School Diploma required or GED equivalent required; degree in Maintenance Technology preferred.
  • •Journeyman's certificate preferred.
  • •Experience with a wide range of mechanical equipment and competency in machine repair and electrical trades in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Comprehension of schematics/blueprints and ability to act as a self-starter focused on preventative maintenance.
