Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and facilitate the facility’s safety programs and initiatives.
  • •Maintain employee personnel records and manage the time and attendance system.
  • •Assist employees with paperwork and online systems related to benefits, demographics, disabilities, FMLA, and pay.
  • •Inspect facility operations to ensure safe job practices, protective equipment use, and proper machine/process guards.
  • •Investigate accidents and near misses, chair the Safety Committee, maintain OSHA 300 log and required reports, and coordinate first aid/CPR staffing readiness and forklift training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bilingual: English and Spanish is a must.
  • •Minimum high school graduate.
  • •0-2 years of experience in safety or woodworking operations.
  • •1-3 years of experience in an administrative role is preferred.
  • •Proficiency with computer/business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
