Job Summary

Lead the corporate Accounting team and oversee end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and annual close activities, including general ledger coordination, journal entry reviews, and reconciliations. Develop accounting policies and internal controls aligned with GAAP and statutory requirements (including Sarbanes-Oxley), and provide financial analyses to support planning and forecasting. Manage and implement accounting/reporting systems and partner with internal auditors to ensure audit-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the corporate Accounting team and develop accounting policies, practices, and procedures aligned with GAAP and federal regulations.
•Coordinate the preparation of standard monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation of the general ledger; maintain close checklists and calendars.
•Develop accounting controls and standards and ensure accounting processes meet statutory requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley.
•Oversee and manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and ensure journal entries, reconciliations, and analytics are audit quality.
•Lead implementation and maintenance of accounting and reporting systems; collaborate with internal auditors and support reviews of internal controls effectiveness.

Key Requirements

•Five years of progressive experience hiring and leading a diverse team in an Accounting department, managing accounting transactions/systems and producing financial reporting for senior leadership.
•Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases).
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Oracle; FloQast and Workiva Wdesk are helpful.
•Ability to drive process and system enhancements and support quarterly audit, internal compliance, and controls.
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BS, MAcc, or MBA) or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education/experience).
