Job Summary

Own and evolve the company’s data warehouse and lakehouse architecture, including schemas, modeling patterns, and long-term scalability. Key Responsibilities

•Own the design and evolution of the data warehouse and lakehouse architecture, including schemas, layer structure, modeling patterns, and scalability.
•Lead data modeling across key business domains using dimensional modeling, semantic layer design, and entity relationship design.
•Define and enforce data standards for structuring, naming, documentation, and governance across the Medallion Architecture (bronze → silver → gold).
•Partner with analytics engineers and business stakeholders to translate domain requirements into robust, reusable data models.
•Drive storage design, partitioning strategies, and compute optimization for query performance and cost efficiency; contribute to governance (lineage, cataloging, access control, quality frameworks) and build reliable pipelines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 207,400 - 259,200 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of data engineering experience with demonstrated depth in data modeling and warehouse design.
•Strong dimensional modeling knowledge, including Medallion/Lakehouse architecture and semantic layer concepts.
•Advanced SQL skills including complex joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization.
•Experience designing and scaling data warehouses or lakehouses in cloud environments (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar).
•Python proficiency for data transformation and pipelines, plus familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or equivalent).
