Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the design and evolution of the data warehouse and lakehouse architecture, including schemas, layer structure, modeling patterns, and scalability.
  • •Lead data modeling across key business domains using dimensional modeling, semantic layer design, and entity relationship design.
  • •Define and enforce data standards for structuring, naming, documentation, and governance across the Medallion Architecture (bronze → silver → gold).
  • •Partner with analytics engineers and business stakeholders to translate domain requirements into robust, reusable data models.
  • •Drive storage design, partitioning strategies, and compute optimization for query performance and cost efficiency; contribute to governance (lineage, cataloging, access control, quality frameworks) and build reliable pipelines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 207,400 - 259,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of data engineering experience with demonstrated depth in data modeling and warehouse design.
  • •Strong dimensional modeling knowledge, including Medallion/Lakehouse architecture and semantic layer concepts.
  • •Advanced SQL skills including complex joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization.
  • •Experience designing and scaling data warehouses or lakehouses in cloud environments (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar).
  • •Python proficiency for data transformation and pipelines, plus familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or equivalent).
