Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering retail banking products and providing ongoing, personalized service.
  • •Establish and update client understanding using profiling and personal financial planning analysis, and coordinate with the financial advisor on assigned investment accounts for objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment trends, and market/business issues affecting mass affluent clients; serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing new products, and managing sales activity, pipeline, and contact management data.
  • •Coordinate integrated service delivery by working with Truist IRM product and service specialists and external centers of influence; ensure compliance within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent experience in financial services.
  • •Minimum 5 years of financial services experience working with clients handling banking, investments, and/or retail lending.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment management/asset allocation concepts, plus retail credit and retail bank products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Active and maintained SIE, FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65 in lieu of 66) and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), or obtain within 100–150 days; transfer active FINRA licenses within 60 days; SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days, including NMLS background check.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills with excellent written, verbal, presentation, and basic computer application proficiency (Microsoft Office).
