Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and drive AI systems, contributing to tooling and scripting systems that support them.
  • •Collaborate with design and content teams to learn and understand their needs for AI behavior and gameplay.
  • •Maintain excellence in contributions through seeking and giving help, code reviews, and engineering advice.
  • •Mentor other engineers in AI system development and engineering practices.
  • •Deliver AI features that bring life to systems and characters players interact with.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid knowledge of working and debugging in C++.
  • •Strong understanding of one or more AI technology areas such as combat behaviors, character perception/decision-making, ambient life behaviors, or navigation/pathfinding in 2D/3D.
  • •Experience collaborating across disciplines, including gameplay engineering and animation, with design and technical art.
  • •Strong mathematics skills, including trigonometry and linear algebra.
  • •Experience shipping AAA titles (bonus for multiplayer AI familiarity).
