Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage site EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Avery Dennison corporate standards.
  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve the site EHS Management System aligned to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • •Serve as primary liaison and SME for OSHA, EPA, Ohio EPA, and fire code requirements; oversee hazardous waste and stormwater/environmental obligations.
  • •Lead incident management including root cause investigations and CAPA to reduce recordable incidents using data-driven indicators.
  • •Supervise and develop an EHS team, including EHS professionals and the Site Security Supervisor, and deliver Life Saving Rule-aligned training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required (Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering preferred).
  • •7+ years of progressive EHS leadership in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Expertise in OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910), EPA/environmental compliance, and Workers’ Compensation.
  • •Preferred certifications: CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM.
  • •Comfort working with enterprise EHS systems (Enablon/Smartsheet preferred) and analytical data tools.
