Job Summary

Join the Revit and Civil 3D Install Team to validate the quality and reliability of Windows-based installer workflows. You’ll lead end-to-end testing, including requirements analysis, test design, execution, defect analysis, and risk assessment. Build and maintain automated installer test tools and cases, verify install/upgrade/repair/uninstall scenarios across Windows environments, and investigate customer issues in partnership with developers.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in end-to-end testing for Revit and Civil 3D installation, including requirements analysis, test strategy definition, test design, execution, defect tracking, and risk assessment.
•Design, develop, and maintain automated test tools and test cases for installer-related scenarios.
•Validate installer quality and reliability across workflows such as install, upgrade, patching, repair, rollback, uninstallation, and configuration/version compatibility.
•Test and verify installer behavior across Windows environments, system settings, user permission levels, and machine states.
•Investigate and reproduce customer-reported or internal issues and partner with developers to improve installer stability, usability, and delivery quality.

Key Requirements

•1+ year of experience in software testing and software quality assurance.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or related) or equivalent practical experience.
•Good understanding of software testing fundamentals including test design, defect lifecycle, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessment.
•Basic programming or scripting skills for test automation/tooling development (Python, Groovy, or Shell).
•Solid understanding of Windows Operating System fundamentals (file system, registry, services, processes, permissions, and troubleshooting).
