Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as domain authority for insurance capabilities, translating business objectives and use cases into domain architecture, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • •Define business context and domain boundaries, ensuring solutions align with insurance practices, regulatory requirements, enterprise standards, and business outcomes.
  • •Drive AI-led, specification-driven development by converting business intent into implementation-ready specifications that engineering and AI-assisted tools can consume.
  • •Partner with Product Owners and engineering teams to refine specifications, resolve ambiguities, and maintain traceability through implementation, testing, and domain validation.
  • •Collaborate with AI/Data Scientists and Technology Architecture to establish insurance data and AI requirements, including rules, controls, explainability, and human-in-the-loop processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 10+ years of insurance industry and/or insurance technology experience with domain architecture or solution consulting experience.
  • •Deep understanding of insurance business processes, operating models, products, and information flows across the insurance value chain.
  • •Ability to translate complex business requirements into precise, structured, implementation-ready specifications, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
  • •Familiarity with AI-led, specification-driven software development and how specifications drive implementation, testing, and validation.
  • •Hands-on exposure to Generative AI and AI-assisted development workflows using tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
