Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, install, and troubleshoot process equipment systems, including pumps, agitators, heat exchangers, tanks, reactors, piping, valves, and other mechanical systems.
  • •Complete preventive and predictive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions using diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer instructions.
  • •Monitor, repair, maintain, and document field mechanical equipment, including plant safety systems and plant power systems.
  • •Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • •Ensure equipment is safely released, keep work areas clean, and complete work orders in the CMMS while complying with GMA Safe/GMP and safety/environmental procedures.

  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •10 years mechanical maintenance experience in a chemical, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, specifically with rotating equipment.
  • •Experience working in a GMP environment and at heights.
  • •Knowledge of Word, Excel, and CMMS systems.
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations; ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
