Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver flight simulator and classroom instruction on one or more assigned aircraft types for pilot qualifications, licenses, and certificates.
  • •Conduct thorough pre- and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards.
  • •Complete administrative training duties such as maintaining training records and recommending remedial training when needed.
  • •Act as a subject matter expert, including creation of curricula and courseware when required.
  • •Support a 2-year training commitment and, per business needs, qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after 1.5 years.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold or meet qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Jet Type Rating.
  • •Provide training/instruction capability for assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
  • •Demonstrate strong communication skills and a passion for teaching others.
  • •Maintain basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs) and keep accurate training records in line with CAE policy and FAA requirements.
  • •Must participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
