Key Responsibilities

  • •Create commodity and capital sourcing strategies aligned to company objectives for payment terms, cash targets, on-time delivery, and cost savings.
  • •Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to evaluate sourcing models, drive compliance to category strategies, and solve difficult sourcing problems.
  • •Ensure supply base health by selecting suppliers based on capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness; analyze suppliers to build strategic sourcing plans.
  • •Manage purchasing transactions and supplier delivery by issuing purchase orders, maintaining accurate master data, and administering contracts and negotiations.
  • •Execute cost reduction projects and initiatives to improve supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, service levels, coordination, delivery, pricing, lead times, payment, and risk compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree with 3+ years’ experience, or bachelor’s with 5+ years’ experience, or 9+ years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, contract negotiation, production planning, operations management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
  • •Experience working in supply chain, production, finance, or engineering functions.
  • •Demonstrated problem-solving, ability to prioritize, and effective written/verbal communication across all internal levels.
  • •Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to respond quickly in a fast-moving environment, with strong budget tracking and cost analytical skills.
  • •Experience sourcing from a global supply base using various contractual models and successful cross-functional new product introduction projects, including cost models and negotiations.
