Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly supervise staff attending classroom training and ensure new employees are supervised during all phases of training.
  • •Assist with developing and revising training curriculum to meet contract requirements and develop classroom/field training strategies.
  • •Develop full lesson plans, presentations, and training class outlines/handouts; provide copies to the COR.
  • •Conduct monthly audits of training programs and records and ensure training files are complete, accurate, and compliant with ACA and PBNDS.
  • •Manage PQS program personnel qualification standards, maintain PQS qualification database, and develop training assessments/tests to measure retention.

Salary: USD 48,462 - 82,446

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years specialized experience as a Training Officer in detention operations (or higher education and training experience totaling 2 years).
  • •Knowledgeable of PBNDS, ACA, PREA, and OSHA compliance.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Must be a Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructor or able to obtain certification prior to appointment.
  • •Must be a certified firearms instructor and able to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
