Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop low voltage switchgears to meet customer requirements, cost targets, and technology expectations.
  • •Perform system/component sizing, simulation, and test validation to support industrialization.
  • •Design for manufacturing and assembly, applying knowledge of plastic injection molding, sheet metal, casting, machining, and tooling considerations.
  • •Provide technical ownership of subsystems/modules to ensure compliance with global standards such as IEC60947 and IEC60898.
  • •Modify and improve existing products via change management to meet customer, manufacturing, regulatory, and market requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •6-9 years of experience in electrical product design (BE/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering).
  • •Experience in R&D/NPI/sustaining projects for breakers (MCB/RCBO), contactors, or switch disconnectors.
  • •Expertise in magnetic system design including CBCT/PMR design and coil design for breakers products.
  • •Proficiency with GD&T principles and clearance & creepage calculations, plus knowledge of plastic/metal part design and integration.
  • •Hands-on experience executing and assessing IEC test plans (e.g., IEC60947, IEC60898, IEC 61009-1) including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
