Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct, train, and coordinate furnace, ladle, and pouring spout repair using refractory materials to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • •Manage a team of skilled technicians, coordinating installation and maintenance of refractory materials with union employees and outside contractors.
  • •Maintain production performance to meet company goals within acceptable scrap levels.
  • •Enforce and review departmental safety programs and records to uphold company policies for a safe environment.
  • •Be accountable for melt department costs, quality, equipment efficiency, and production quantity; ensure 5S+1 compliance and lead operations across all shifts.
