Key Responsibilities

  • •Take over software development work packages under the V-Model (requirements analysis, detailed design, coding, testing) for national software projects.
  • •Coordinate operational requirements for LRIs of the subsystem with stakeholders.
  • •Develop software prototypes in an agile Scrum setup to support feasibility studies.
  • •Transfer provided Eurofighter software artifacts from the four-nation main development to the SUZ EF development and test environments.
  • •Assist in software-level problem analysis, collaborating with other Airbus technical departments when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with relevant specialization.
  • •At least 5 years of relevant experience in software development, ideally using V-Model or comparable development models.
  • •Strong knowledge of an imperative or object-oriented programming language, preferably Ada or C (alternatively Java or C#).
  • •Agile methods knowledge (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban) is advantageous.
  • •Fluent German and good English in spoken and written communication.
