Operate CNC machining equipment on the weekend shift in the Machining Department, including setting up and running NC milling machines and vertical turret lathes (VTCs) to perform routine production operations. Read work instructions and use precision measuring tools to verify finished parts meet specifications. Maintain operator certification, perform total preventive maintenance (TPM), and collaborate with engineers, quality, and programmers to resolve machining issues. Train on 1st shift for 4–6 months before assignment.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and operate NC milling machines, vertical turret lathes, or VTCs to perform routine production operations.

•Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
•Maintain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
•Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
