Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate electrical and communication system requirements with project teams, proposal stakeholders, clients, and other key stakeholders.
  • •Lead FPSO electrical system design philosophies and offshore telecommunications/ICT solution development, ensuring safety, reliability, operability, maintainability, redundancy, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • •Drive preparation and review of key engineering deliverables including electrical/ICT architecture, single line diagrams, load lists, equipment specifications, cable schedules, and area classification drawings.
  • •Lead or review electrical power system and safety studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, relay coordination, harmonics, arc flash, reliability, and network design).
  • •Manage multidiscipline interfaces and ensure engineering compliance with client specifications, offshore regulations, classification society requirements, and international standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •10-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, offshore facilities, or FPSO developments.
  • •Demonstrated experience supporting Concept, FEED, EPC, EPCM, or EPCI projects.
  • •Extensive offshore electrical power generation and distribution systems expertise, including FPSO operational requirements.
  • •Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, API, NORSOK, and offshore classification/industry standards, and experience with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, or DigSILENT PowerFactory.
