Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare cost estimates, bills of materials (BOMs), and labor projections for data center construction and infrastructure projects.
  • •Interpret blueprints, specifications, and scope documents to determine project requirements and perform estimate take-offs.
  • •Collaborate with project teams, field operations, and procurement to validate material quantities, labor rates, and vendor quotes.
  • •Support bid preparation and submission for RFPs and client proposals, including change order analysis for scope and cost impacts.
  • •Maintain historical cost data, unit pricing, and vendor rate databases; participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of estimating, project coordination, or data center construction experience (internships or field experience acceptable).
  • •Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Knowledge of Division 27 construction specifications in ISP environments and strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, or cabling systems in mission-critical facilities.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and estimating software (Trimble, Accubid, or PlanSwift).
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
