Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the essential clinical voice in technical discussions, product decisions, and model development to ensure clinical validity and real-world applicability.
  • •Design, prototype, implement, and evaluate healthcare AI/ML models for quality reporting, patient safety monitoring, and clinical decision support.
  • •Define clinical data requirements, create annotation schemas, curate training datasets, and ensure data quality for model development.
  • •Rigorously evaluate model outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and utility, including identifying edge cases and failure modes.
  • •Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate clinical needs into technical requirements and user-facing features, including prompt/workflow design for LLMs.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical degree (MD, MBBS, MBChB, MB BChir, or equivalent) with active or recent clinical practice experience.
  • •Deep understanding of hospital workflows, quality processes, patient safety frameworks, and clinical operations.
  • •Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with data analysis libraries.
  • •Ability to systematically analyze data and models, identify potential issues, and think critically about accuracy and safety.
  • •Excellent communication skills to explain complex clinical and technical concepts to clinicians, engineers, and business stakeholders.
