Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and/or conduct quality/state inspections to identify imperfections or needed repairs.
  • •Complete work as part of the post-production reconditioning process to prepare vehicles for customers.
  • •Use state-of-the-art tools in Carvana inspection centers and follow safety procedures and equipment requirements.
  • •For higher levels, perform increasingly complex repairs, including brake/tire work and advanced diagnostics as experience allows.
  • •Contribute to keeping vehicles in first-rate condition before they are inspected, perfected, and photographed.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional automotive repair experience appropriate to the selected technician level (entry-level min 6 months; brake/tire min 1 year; mid-level min 3 years; experienced min 5 years).
  • •Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • •Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
  • •Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
