Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
  • •Install, maintain, and calibrate process control and instrumentation equipment, including flow meters, sensors (thermocouples, RTDs), transmitters, drives, weigh feeders, and emissions analyzers.
  • •Calibrate and maintain emissions analyzers per service manuals and regulatory permit requirements.
  • •Maintain instrument logbooks and ensure process control data is recorded, backed up, and archived.
  • •Perform maintenance on existing instrument equipment and perform new instrumentation construction installations (including operating mobile equipment).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent, with two years of college/technical school/service training in instrumentation and electronic technology or four years of related instrumentation technician experience.
  • •Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, and signs, with willingness to learn (training provided).
  • •Knowledge of electronics and basic operating systems software (Microsoft Server, Windows XP, Windows 7, MS Office), process analyzers, and electrical controls.
  • •Ability to read operating manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • •Good English communication skills (written and interpersonal) and an excellent work and safety record.
