Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement cost-control processes to monitor, manage, and forecast project budgets and expenditure.
  • •Prepare, review, and maintain project budgets aligned to project objectives and financial constraints.
  • •Lead the full procurement lifecycle, including prequalification, tendering, evaluation, supplier selection, and contract preparation.
  • •Produce and present detailed cost reports, including variance analyses and projections, with recommendations to optimise costs.
  • •Identify and mitigate cost-related risks, manage cost variances and contract cash flow, and coach junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •A Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • •Proven experience delivering cost management for projects of comparable complexity and scale.
  • •Extensive experience supporting cost-management activities within major project environments to meet programme goals.
  • •Significant expertise in conceptual project budgeting, construction risk identification, scheduling, project planning, design, and cost estimating across multiple stages.
  • •Strong experience engaging with stakeholders across organisational levels to influence improvements and support delivery and reporting.
