Key Responsibilities

  • •Embed with investment, talent, and development teams to understand complex workflows; run discovery research (interviews, observation, synthesis) and derive clear design points of view.
  • •Design and ship products people love, covering information architecture, interaction design, and high-craft visual design, including interfaces for humans and agents.
  • •Build real working front ends with AI-native tools (Claude, Claude Code), closing the gap between design and engineering by shipping the interface yourself.
  • •Act as a product manager for the workflows you take on: define strategy, prioritize, define quality, and measure impact on how people work.
  • •Raise the bar across the firm by teaching AI-native product design, contributing reusable patterns, and helping teams and portfolio companies build differently.

  • •10+ years designing and shipping software products, with substantial ownership of user research and discovery interviews.
  • •Strong design practice across interaction design, information architecture, and product thinking, with notable visual design strength.

  • •Comfort with HTML/CSS and a modern component framework (React or similar) to build the frontend yourself.
