Job Summary

Lead maintenance teams responsible for installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical plant equipment, facilities, utilities, and the powerhouse. Partner with Production on maintenance planning and scheduling, implement prevention/predictive maintenance systems (TPM, SOPs, safety), and troubleshoot equipment failures. Track maintenance KPIs, provide regular status reporting, ensure USDA compliance, and support continuity by covering key responsibilities when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance and machine repairs.
•Schedule and coordinate maintenance with Production; develop and implement maintenance systems including prevention/predictive maintenance, TPM, SOPs, and safety.
•Troubleshoot equipment failures and support day-to-day problem analysis with long-term solutions.
•Develop and maintain maintenance KPIs and provide regular status reports to maintenance management.
•Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations; maintain accurate maintenance work records and inventory.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience acting as a lead by training, coaching, or mentoring less experienced staff or managing a process/project.
•Ability to lead problem solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed.
