Job Summary

Product Counsel will partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Content teams to guide development and launches from regulatory, consumer protection and IP perspectives across global markets, ensuring user-first, legally sound products while shaping scalable legal processes. You’ll work cross-functionally across jurisdictions (EU and US focus) to translate evolving regulations into actionable product guidance.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise on all legal matters related to product development and user experience, including consumer protection, e-commerce, auto-renewals, dark patterns, disclosures, advertising law, and platform-specific requirements (e.g., Apple, Google).
•Partner cross-functionally with product managers, designers, marketing and content teams to provide clear and actionable legal guidance across multiple product lines and jurisdictions.
•Review and advise on sign-up flows, cancellation flows, upsells, monetization models, and content use.
•Monitor evolving global regulations (e.g. FTC, DSA, ROSCA, GPSR, UK DMCCA) and help translate them into product-ready compliance strategies.
•Help shape and scale our legal processes, templates, and risk frameworks, in collaboration with privacy, content safety, and commercial legal teams.

Key Requirements

•Qualified lawyer (EU, or equivalent) with 4-6 years of experience, with some in-house experience at a tech or digital consumer company.
