Job Summary

Operate and support the daily SX/EW plant and tank house operations, demonstrating knowledge of operating procedures and plant parameters. Conduct daily safety meetings and inspections, monitor and adjust pond levels, perform circuit audits, and collect/process copper, acid, and nitrate assays and samples for lab delivery. Generate safety/production/maintenance work orders, maintain logbook and computer data entry, and coordinate with the shift supervisor to keep operations on-spec.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in daily start-of-shift safety meetings and perform daily workplace safety inspections of SX/EW.
•Collect and process copper, acid, and nitrate assays and ensure results are handled as outlined in operator responsibilities.
•Maintain data entry into computer systems and keep detailed logbooks.
•Coordinate with the shift supervisor to maintain plant parameters and operating procedures, assessing and making adjustments as needed.
•Perform daily circuit audits and pond level monitoring/adjustment, and collect composite and can samples for lab delivery.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent).
•Current valid driver license with a clean driving record.
•Ability to maintain a positive, safe, team-oriented attitude.
•Good communication skills and ability to demonstrate understanding of received communication.
•Basic computer knowledge and basic math skills, with motivation to learn SX/EW operation parameters and procedures.
