Key Responsibilities

  • •Sponsor and adhere to safety and environmental rules, performing regular Visible Felt Leadership (VFL) and Critical Control Field Verifications (CCFV) field visits.
  • •Mentor and supervise the production geology department, and develop relationships with management and technical/operational staff.
  • •Develop and lead CAPEX and OPEX planning for production geology activities.
  • •Maintain and update short- and medium-term block models and geometallurgical parameters, including grades and geological variables.
  • •Oversee geological data collection, face mapping, RC drilling programs, sampling for geometallurgy, QA/QC, and ore stockpile monitoring and tracking.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 138,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geology and/or Geological Sciences.
  • •Registered, or eligible to register, with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) as a P. Geo.
  • •Minimum 10+ years of experience in production geology processes and copper porphyries.
  • •Demonstrated experience working in active mining operations, including geological data collection and ore process control.
  • •Proficiency with industry-standard geological and mining software (e.g., Acquire, Vulcan, Leapfrog, Datamine).
