Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead SSD board design & validation with ownership through the product lifecycle, including worst-case analysis and simulations.
  • •Simulate and analyze power and signaling design proposals, review results, and recommend optimal design practices to other design engineers.
  • •Perform measurements and characterization of hardware including DC-DC converters, LDOs, PMIC devices, and relevant interfaces (I2C/I3C, SMBus, LPDDR5, PCIe).
  • •Define PCB back-end processes such as stack-up and via technologies, set design constraints, and run SI/PI analysis.
  • •Ensure designs comply with industry standards (IPC) and regulatory requirements (UL, IEC), and maintain documentation including design docs, test reports, and FMEA outputs.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in hardware design, validation, debugging, and root-causing hardware/system issues.
  • •In-depth knowledge of PCIe interface (Gen5 & Gen6), PCIe Base and CEM specs, LPDDR4/5, NAND memories, and ONFI interface (preferred).
  • •Strong understanding of signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.
  • •Experience with DC-DC converters and power components including Buck/Boost, PMIC, Power Loss Protection (PLP), LDO, and Load Switch devices.
  • •Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with strong communication skills across geographies.
