Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain landing zones and underlying platform capabilities in Google Cloud with the team.
  • •Lead realisation of target architecture by breaking it into buildable work, setting implementation direction, and delivering to production.
  • •Partner with the Solution Architect to pressure-test designs against implementation reality and security considerations, feeding learnings back.
  • •Set the bar for code quality, CI/CD, and automated testing to make it easy for teams to do the right thing.
  • •Drive platform lifecycle management, stay ahead of technical debt, and advise architects and development teams across the bank.

Key Requirements

  • •Several years of hands-on development in Google Cloud with a track record of solutions you built, launched, and maintained over time.
  • •Experience leading development work without formal line management, in a team or across several teams.
  • •Infrastructure as Code and automation with CI/CD, using tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
  • •Scripting and development in Python.
  • •Solid understanding of identity and access management, observability, networking, and security in the cloud.
