Job Summary

Join Cox Automotive’s Manheim team as an Automotive Technician at Fontana. Perform light to mid-level maintenance and repair on vehicles, including oil changes, brake and electrical work, diagnostics, and recalls. Two levels offered with different pay ranges; on-site at Fontana location; Sunday–Thursday day shift; pre-employment drug test required.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform auto maintenance tech duties including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspection
•Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement and testing/repair of starting and charging electrical systems
•Perform repairs including tires, safety inspections, rear main seal, timing covers, radiators, suspension components and interior/exterior components
•Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems
•Evacuate and recharge the AC system and maintain equipment

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24.09 - 36.11 hourly

Key Requirements

•1+ year of related work experience
•The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles
•Valid driver’s license
•High school diploma or GED
•Current ASE Certifications: G1, A4, A5 (Level 1) or G1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 (Level 2) as required by leadership
