Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform insulation and contact resistance testing, inspection, verification, and QA/QC activities on LV molded case circuit breakers.
  • •Carry out commissioning, inspection, and verification for low and medium-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, protective relays, and related equipment.
  • •Read and interpret electrical control schematics and diagrams; verify drawings and equipment layouts.
  • •Verify control circuit continuity, power monitoring component functionality, protective relay/trip unit settings, and electrical sequence of operations.
  • •Document work by maintaining records, completing checklists, and writing technical reports; coordinate with Eaton representatives and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent (or accredited trade school completion) with at least 1 year of electrical or mechanical industry experience.
  • •Experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems for at least 1 year.
  • •Ability to successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton’s safety program and policy (including role-applicable portions of the EESS QEW program).
  • •Must possess and maintain an unrestricted valid driver’s license and comply with DOT non-CDL requirements if required.
  • •Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or field service/testing experience, plus prior Qualified Electrical Worker program participation and NICET/NETA certifications.
