Key Responsibilities

•Provide proactive and strategic leadership for the scientific discipline, ensuring deliverables meet industry and company standards.
•Oversee quality control procedures for research, data collection, and documentation of historical data to determine site locations and sensitivities.
•Lead large-scale historical preservation and architectural history projects, manage budgets, hours, expenses, and supervise subcontractors and staff.
•Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams across siting, licensing, and historical resources planning for assigned projects.
•Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and preservation guidelines; support strategy, growth, and pipeline development for historian work.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural History, History Preservation, or a related field.
•7-10 years of relevant post-education experience working as an historian, architectural historian, or similar role.
•Strong knowledge of environmental laws, preservation regulations, compliance practices, and documentation requirements.
•Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels."
•Advanced proficiency with office automation and communication software; ability to adapt to change and schedules; occasional travel may be required.
