Job Summary

Build and ship AI-powered, customer-facing product features by applying Pleo’s spend data from prototype to production. Partner closely with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders across Product Engineering, AI Platform, and Data & ML Platform to design scalable AI solutions, own evaluation/monitoring and LLMOps in production, and help set practical standards for safe, high-quality GenAI delivery. Mentorship and collaboration are core parts of the role.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and ship multiple AI-powered product features across agentic workflows, spend intelligence, and automated actions.
•Advise and prioritize with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders on what is worth building, helping define the product beyond specs.
•Own evaluation, monitoring, and operationalisation of AI features in production, including drift tracking and safe prompt changes.
•Partner with the GenAI Core platform team as a design partner by validating platform choices with evidence from real feature delivery.
•Establish practical standards for AI feature delivery in product squads, including evaluation strategy, monitoring, safe prompt/versioning, and privacy & safety guardrails.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience shipping multiple GenAI features into production at scale in a customer-facing product, including multi-step, tool-using agents.
•Translate complex business challenges and product visions into scalable AI solutions that you can autonomously scope, design, and build.
•Deep applied AI judgment across evaluation, retrieval quality, tool use, failure modes, and trade-offs like quality vs latency/cost.
•Experience with LLM evaluation and observability (tests, golden sets, online metrics, monitoring) and iterating using signals.
•Strong understanding of privacy and security concerns for LLM applications, including prompt injection and PII/data leakage risks.
