You’ll advise customers, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide on-site customer support for a Well Log Data Management project using AspenTech software to drive user engagement and product usage.
•Oversee and ensure the quality and consistency of well log data (field, processed, and interpreted data).
•Review and ensure technical accuracy and consistency of petrophysical work produced by the Petrophysicist.
•Manage petrophysical aspects of the project, ensuring timely delivery of results and alignment with project objectives.
•Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and customers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Petrophysics, Geology, Geosciences, Earth Sciences or related discipline.
•A minimum of 15 years of industry experience as a Petrophysicist, Well log Analyst or Wellsite Geologist in the oil and gas industry.
•Extensive experience in petrophysical evaluation, well logging techniques, reservoir characterization, and resource assessment.
•Good understanding of Petrophysical topics like NMR, ECS, XRD, PNL, SONIC, TOC calculations etc.
•Proven hands-on experience with AspenTech Formation Evaluation software (Aspen Geolog) and/or other advanced petrophysical applications such as PowerLog, Techlog, DecisionSpace Petrophysics, or Interactive Petrophysics.
