Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site customer support for a Well Log Data Management project using AspenTech software to drive user engagement and product usage.
  • •Oversee and ensure the quality and consistency of well log data (field, processed, and interpreted data).
  • •Review and ensure technical accuracy and consistency of petrophysical work produced by the Petrophysicist.
  • •Manage petrophysical aspects of the project, ensuring timely delivery of results and alignment with project objectives.
  • •Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and customers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Petrophysics, Geology, Geosciences, Earth Sciences or related discipline.
  • •A minimum of 15 years of industry experience as a Petrophysicist, Well log Analyst or Wellsite Geologist in the oil and gas industry.
  • •Extensive experience in petrophysical evaluation, well logging techniques, reservoir characterization, and resource assessment.
  • •Good understanding of Petrophysical topics like NMR, ECS, XRD, PNL, SONIC, TOC calculations etc.
  • •Proven hands-on experience with AspenTech Formation Evaluation software (Aspen Geolog) and/or other advanced petrophysical applications such as PowerLog, Techlog, DecisionSpace Petrophysics, or Interactive Petrophysics.
