Key Responsibilities

  • •Review the overall QA/QC system setup and ensure QC plan and ITPs are in place, reviewed, and agreed.
  • •Review WPS, PQR and welding performance reports; witness welder tests and monitor welder continuity logs for compliance.
  • •Review fabrication shop and field welding quality, and review NDE and PWHT activities and records.
  • •Interpret welding queries for compliance with ASME and AWS codes/specifications and provide technical support for robust decisions.
  • •Audit field construction projects against the organization’s Quality System, recommend corrective actions, and support proposal/specification review.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor or Diploma degree in a related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience in field welding QC and coatings systems.
  • •CSWIP or AWS Certified Welding Inspector and NDE certifications preferred.
  • •Strong working knowledge of ASME and AWS codes/specifications.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with coordination across disciplines.
