Job Summary

Serve as a full-time construction management inspector for multi-trade contracts, ensuring projects meet contract requirements and stay on schedule and within budget. Conduct inspections, supervise inspectors, and prepare construction reports while maintaining detailed daily logs of progress, approvals, deliveries, and site issues. Resolve problems and conflicts through meetings and coordination, and monitor contractor safety operations in collaboration with the Regional Safety Manager.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide construction management inspection for multi-trade contracts to ensure conformance with contract requirements.
•Make timely decisions to keep projects on schedule and within budgeted costs while meeting client needs.
•Perform inspections, prepare construction reports, expedite contract execution, and supervise inspectors.
•Maintain written daily logs covering project progress, actions taken, contractor workforce, materials approvals and deliveries, and jobsite issues.
•Identify and resolve problems and conflicts through meetings, communication with team members, and coordination of contractor safety operations.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma.
•Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in construction across multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects, including supervision.
•Minimum 4 years of experience as a Construction Inspector, including site/civil work.
•Strong communications skills and a collaborative approach working with clients and construction contractors/subcontractors.
•Proven ability to uphold workplace safety and comply with health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
