Job Summary

Design and deliver plumbing engineering work for complex infrastructure and building projects across healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, labs, and industrial manufacturing. Lead methods for analyzing site and blueprint data, produce construction plans and specifications, and incorporate modeling and load calculations for future-ready systems. Provide quality control, prepare technical reports/presentations, implement HASPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and permits.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical assistance and guidance across the full project cycle for plumbing systems, including research, design, planning, installation, operation, maintenance, and inspection.
•Develop construction/installation plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including safety and phasing plans and updates to infrastructure layout plans.
•Incorporate advanced technology, modeling techniques, concept development, design requirements, and operating strategies for proper installation and functioning.
•Prepare technical reports, drawings, calculations, and visualizations (tables/charts/spreadsheets) to support interpretation and presentations.
•Maintain QA/QC and quality control standards, implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), and collaborate with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, architects, and clients.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering (or closely related).
•5 to 7 years of relevant post-education engineering experience with plumbing and mechanical design.
•Engineer in Training Certification.
•Proficient knowledge of plumbing and mechanical engineering principles and design/build practices applied to project issues.
•Working knowledge of relevant plumbing/mechanical codes, laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
