Key Responsibilities

  • •Own key dry etch process levels/modules and translate technology challenges into executable roadmaps across multiple nodes.
  • •Lead FOAK dry etch development, including recipe architecture, EPD strategy, control plans, and integration alignment.
  • •Establish tool robustness mechanisms to improve manufacturability and maturity criteria.
  • •Drive cross-functional execution across technology development, process integration, and manufacturing with technical status and risk updates.
  • •Collaborate with equipment/supplier teams to implement process-level hardware roadmaps and resolve yield/defectivity/integration issues using data/model-based methods.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD (≥12 years) or Master’s (≥15 years) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields with extensive dry etch process development experience.
  • •Advanced dry etch process development with strong mechanistic understanding of plasma etch physics/chemistry.
  • •Proven ability to execute FOAK dry etch development, including recipe architecture, EPD strategy, and control plans.
  • •Strong DOE/SPC/control strategy competency to improve robustness and manufacturability.
  • •Evidence of external/industry recognition (e.g., patents, publications, invited talks, technical committee/consortia leadership).
