Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis to support studies of dams and reservoirs, using specialist software.
  • •Keep up-to-date with regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work.
  • •Carry out research and apply theoretical knowledge to assist continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • •Undertake feasibility studies and prepare designs, drawings, specifications, and contracts for alternative solutions.
  • •Write reports and prepare presentations, and support dam inspections through site visits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field (e.g., geology, geotechnics, structures).
  • •A master’s degree in relevant subjects is an advantage.
  • •Interest in reservoir engineering and the wider water industry, with enthusiasm and hard-working attitude.
  • •Strong research skills with curiosity and an inquisitive mindset.
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to structure and prioritize work with multi-disciplinary teams.
