Key Responsibilities

•Drive the system requirements lifecycle for JPALS and related programs, including system- and subsystem-level requirements development.
•Analyze stakeholder needs and translate them into technical, testable, feasible requirements with decomposition, allocation, and traceability.
•Lead the requirements engineering team through key milestones (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and perform requirement change assessments.
•Maintain requirements in IBM Rational DOORS, including traceability and change impact assessment, and automate DOORS documentation workflows via scripts.
•Define and document system and subsystem interfaces (ICDs and architecture artifacts) and support verification planning with test teams.

Key Requirements

•Strong foundation in systems engineering fundamentals.
•Extensive experience in systems engineering for complex, multi-disciplinary systems (hardware, software, avionics, mission systems, etc.).
•Strong proficiency with requirements development, decomposition, allocation, and traceability across the system lifecycle.
•Proficiency with IBM Rational DOORS and requirements management best practices.
•Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience (or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years).
