Job Summary

Partner with Manufacturing and People leaders at the Batam site to execute the people strategy—driving talent development, engagement, retention, and workforce planning. Own end-to-end employee and labor relations support, including performance improvement, investigations, and compliance with labor laws and internal policies. Act as a change and culture advisor, helping leaders communicate effectively and manage people impacts during organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a strategic people partner to Manufacturing and People leaders, strengthening leadership capability and guiding performance and talent management.
•Drive workforce planning and core people processes at the site, including staffing, engagement, and compensation and benefits aligned to business needs.
•Provide end-to-end employee relations support, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance cases, performance improvement, and investigations.
•Handle employee and labor relations compliance by ensuring fair, consistent, and timely case handling aligned with labor laws, internal policies, and best practices.
•Promote culture and lead change by driving engagement, supporting organizational changes with clear communication, and managing people impacts in line with policies and business priorities.

Key Requirements

•Over 10 years of experience in People Partnering, HR Business Partnering, or similar roles, ideally in manufacturing or operational/industrial environments.
•A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, People Management, Change Management, or a related discipline.
•At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HR operations and administration, with a strong track record applying compliance standards, internal policies, and HR procedures.
•Deep expertise in employee and labor relations, including interpreting and applying labor laws and internal policies.
•Skilled at coaching and influencing leaders without formal authority, handling complex and sensitive people matters with integrity and sound judgment.
