Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, steering, transmission, clutch, differential, and HVAC-related systems.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Document repair work and DOT forms on repair orders, upload required photos using a company-issued iOS device, and comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination such as additional degree/certification or 5 years of related experience).
  • •Supply a set of hand tools necessary for the role.
  • •Obtain and supply ASE T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen months.
  • •Be able to pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a valid DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity).
  • •Be at least 21 years or older and hold a valid state-of-residence driver’s license.
