Job Summary

Plan and execute migrations of servers and databases to AWS, using AWS Application Migration Service and AWS DMS with validation and cutover. Define and govern multi-account AWS Landing Zone environments with secure networking, including HA designs for third-party virtual firewalls via Gateway Load Balancer. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams to map dependencies, create runbooks and cutover plans, and support post-migration troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute migrations of on-premises servers or other-cloud workloads to AWS using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN).
•Conduct database migrations with AWS DMS, including full load, CDC, validation, and cutover outside business hours when needed.
•Define and sustain AWS environments using Landing Zone with account, governance, security, and networking best practices.
•Design high availability for third-party virtual firewalls using Gateway Load Balancer, including health checks, failover, and traffic distribution.
•Create runbooks, cutover and rollback plans, technical documentation, and support troubleshooting after migration for replication, connectivity, performance, and stabilization.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in AWS migration projects, including server and workload migrations.
•Hands-on knowledge of AWS MGN for rehost/lift-and-shift migrations.
•Experience with AWS DMS for homogeneous and heterogeneous database migrations, including validation and cutover.
•Knowledge of AWS Landing Zone and multi-account environment setup.
•Practical AWS networking and security architecture experience, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, and Gateway Load Balancer.
