Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent platform consumers by embedding with engineering leads across business lines and learning builds, pain points, and forks.
  • •Develop and execute a long-term roadmap for supported compute platforms used throughout Anduril devices.
  • •Run continuous gap triage and ensure each gap is resolved with build/assign/decline/defer outcomes.
  • •Define and drive delivery of the device baseline, including OS/Jetpack, product-security components, resource-bounded Lattice service profiles, provisioning, and key management.
  • •Reclaim orphaned platform code by deprecating homegrown C++ primitives, standardizing shared-library linkage, and integrating with Security to enable secure-by-default device deployment.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years building automated verification suites at scale.
  • •5+ years working in NixOS environments, declarative package management, and virtualization environments.
  • •Experience shipping embedded or edge systems where OS, security posture, and application were all your responsibility.
  • •Ability to dive into Nix and NixOS and drive platform direction based on deep technical understanding.
  • •View unowned libraries as liabilities and drive standards for correctness and reliability.
