Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead defined IT, workplace-technology, and digital-buildings projects or workstreams from initiation to close-out, managing scope, programme, budget, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • •Align technology milestones with construction, fit-out, and operational-readiness activity, including relevant RIBA Plan of Work stages, and drive resolution of blockers before they impact outcomes.
  • •Coordinate delivery interfaces across IT infrastructure, smart-building systems, operational technology, building management systems, and related construction/fit-out programmes.
  • •Manage procurement and commercial performance for technology delivery, including tenders, proposal evaluation, supplier coordination, and change/risk controls as applicable.
  • •Support testing, commissioning, handover, and operational readiness, and at Principal level lead complex commissions, selected bids, mentoring, and delivery governance.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading client-side technology, IT infrastructure, workplace technology, or related delivery projects in commercial occupier, workplace, construction, or fit-out environments.
  • •Track record managing scope, programme, risk, budget, stakeholders, and delivery partners on complex or high-visibility work.
  • •Practical experience with technology infrastructure such as networks, communications rooms, structured cabling, telecommunications, cloud/on-premises environments, and audiovisual systems.
  • •Ability to coordinate interfaces between IT infrastructure, smart-building systems, operational technology, building management systems, and wider construction or fit-out delivery.
  • •A recognised project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM PMQ, or AgilePM (or equivalent demonstrable project-delivery experience).
