Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and supervise a competent maintenance workforce, including training and leave schedules.
  • •Prepare maintenance plans for DR mechanical equipment in coordination with planning.
  • •Lead preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and major repairs to optimize production and reduce downtime.
  • •Troubleshoot breakdowns, identify recurring failures, and drive root-cause solutions (including design modifications if needed).
  • •Ensure mechanical inspection, maintenance, and overhaul are carried out safely and in compliance with policies, legislation, quality, and environmental controls.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • •8+ years of experience in Direct Reduction Plant mechanical maintenance as Head Mechanical or equivalent.
  • •4+ years in a middle management position.
  • •3+ years in implementation of engineering principles.
  • •English (essential) and Arabic (preferred).
