Job Summary

Operate and support gravure press production across press room tasks including roll stand, folder/gluer, and material handling. Load and label pallets, ensure correct product setup and accurate, error-free printing, and perform sample pulls for quality audits. Handle downtime duties such as cleaning, solvent/varnish setup, doctor blade maintenance, and make-ready activities. Maintain OHSE cGMP/HACCP compliance and support press crew goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform gravure press operation tasks including press room, roll stand tasks, folder/gluer, and/or material handling as required.
•Receive and move product, stack and place on pallets, and print pallet labels using information from job docket and set up sheet.
•Ensure job quality and accuracy by reviewing finished work, keeping jobs complete and error-free, and notifying operators of problems.
•Conduct downtime duties such as press webbing, assisting operators when the press is down, cleaning the press area, and handling solvent/varnish and cylinder setup/breakdown.
•Handle material movement as a forklift driver when applicable: safe operation, loading/unloading, waste and recyclable weighing/recording, and supporting production through correct material availability.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or GED) and 1–3 years related production experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).
•Very good mechanical and physical ability to perform press-related tasks safely.
•Forklift operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of company equipment.
•Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform prolonged standing, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
•Must be able to follow PPE and hazardous materials/waste handling procedures and meet cGMP, HACCP, and Chain of Custody requirements.
